I noticed that most Chinese tourists are not so interested in culture, they pay more attention on landscaping and local specialties. Once in Austria, A family from North East china argued with the tour guide for more than three hours because they want to go inside opera house to see their stage that their idol singer once performed there. While I took Jackie to see two wonderful museums including the famous royal palace. Nowadays Chinese tourists have money in the pocket, they buy this and that so they can bring back to show off without spending efforts to understand the history, culture the land, the people. Chinese merchants spend efforts doing research on how to open trading networks providing made in Chiba light industry products. Perhaps when China has enough money, the outside world will come to understand Chinese culture.
