亲爱的总统埃尔多安（Erdogan），我认为马尔马拉海沿岸很有潜力。 它可以变成土耳其的硅谷，大学城，文化区，商业集散中心，土耳其的好莱坞和度假胜地。

 Dear President Erdogan, I think there is great potential for the stripe along the marmaris sea. It can be turned into Turkish Silicon Valley, College town, culture zone , commercial distribution center , Turkish Hollywood , and vacation retirement place. 

这次我去土耳其看到的，很多是历史遗留的古迹，是在文艺复兴以前的. 欧洲的文化主要是文艺复兴以后的建筑绘画，花园，城市的格局. 我觉得土耳其对以前的古迹保护的力度不够，呈现的方式也欠缺. 当中国还在秦砖汉瓦的时候，希腊地中海地区包括土耳其，已经有了如此精美轩昂的建筑，都是白色大理石雕琢的呀. 可是就那么一堆放着，断垣残壁的，除了发思古之幽情，觉得应该将其更美化一番，也许要花点钱把原来的旧貌变新颜，开发不同的商业应用. 比如婚礼集会，音乐会什么的. 比如绘画戏剧什么的，比如以此为背景的电影故事什么的. 很多残石就这么一堆，价值被埋没了.  而奥特曼帝国时期的建筑，我们只看了蓝色清真寺和老皇宫. 我觉得在气魄上还是索菲亚大教堂更辉煌一些，伊斯兰教不推崇偶像崇拜，全部用线条就已经天生被限制了艺术的表现力. 我看了欧洲的天主教东正教基督教内部装潢的宏伟精美，伊斯兰教清真寺里的空荡荡让人心里也空荡荡的. 我看得见土耳其在向前跃进，到处是现代化的大楼. 如果土耳其政府如在建设地中海到黑海这一带，在现代化建筑群的同时，引进各个文化的风格，比俄国庄园的风格，中国园林的风格，等等，那愿意在这些庄园里置产的有钱人，一定乐于看见产业的文化附加值. 以前这些地方都可以开放，作为名胜让人参观的，那从爱琴海到黑海这一带就不会单调乏味了，就不会只有幽幽蓝水静静地流淌了.我想象那边会文化灿烂的. 土耳其我今天先讲到这儿. 听说埃尔多安总统，愿意接受Jackie去做高中的国际交换生，我先在这谢谢他！
