I think the crash of the Soviet Union, it was not the fault of Gorbachev, Khrushchev, nor Stalin, yet it’s the combination of all. The Western camp placed an important role here as well. Eastern Europe and Soviet union, do not have mass population at all, which means they do not have a big market. Tons of money has been put into defense business for the security purpose, That you cannot eat it, you cannot wear it , you cannot make much profit out of it. Some people in the Western camp drink too much wine, created sea power theory, land power theory. As a result, the world's rulers are confused, misled and getting crazy. In the late 1980s, when I came to the United States, I could not  find  products of  Soviet Union. It was the Western blockade of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Chinese say “The flowing water is not rotten, and the ventilating hub is not ruined.”, if you do not connect to the world market , only selling oil is not enough, how can you have a good economy? I am thinking because the  good scientific theory had not been applied properly, the policies formulated by the Warsaw Treaty countries did not, in fact, take account of the interests of all countries and failed to effectively stimulate the economic development of these countries. The Russian nation has a very good tradition, that  constantly, from itself,  makes adjustment, adaptation, social development. However , at that time, the Soviet government was in a hurry to change, plus the international hostile environment, that made Soviet union crash.
