中国市场巨大  The Chinese market is huge

总公司老板来公司巡视，知道我是中国大陆来的，那时候里边只有我一个大陆来的中国人. 很激动地告诉我, 他才去了中国大陆上海，看见这么多的人用手机呀，小两口子，老婆坐在自行车后面低头在玩手机。手机这么贵他们怎么买得起？他问我，我也不知道。反正国内玩这种电器，市场好像干柴烈火一样，一点就熊熊燃烧势不可当。我想那是因为城市化呀，太多农民工到大城市来，他们需要通讯工具与遥远的家人联络呀。中国的文化又是攀比的，上海女孩子可以省吃俭用三个月，去买一件跟她月工资一样贵的衣服，男生买个手机很正常。而且国内经济活跃赚钱容易呀。进了军工，更觉得那些人啥素质啊？项目做不下去被砍掉是每年都有的。总设计师不知道设计结构，项目主管不知道这个项目做得出做不出。军工的预算是不受经济和市场影响的，太好赚钱了，所以明明这个几千亿项目有致命错误，有人来劝我 “你就跟着走呗，多什么事呢？” 像美国这样巨大浪费的社会，再多的钱家也会败掉的呀。美国人迷信自由市场，每年美国有千百万个中小企业建立，两年以后80%就消失了，可是我觉得，应该有所规划，才不会这样浪费资源。不消几年就有了零八年的危机。我们这些少数族裔、女生、又是共产国家来的可能间谍，当然是第一批被人赶走的。最近20年的拉丁裔移民运动，也是一个政治夺权的运动，把很多传统行业的有能力的中上管理人员赶走了，取而代之有他们这些背景的且能力不够的打手。美国社会的政治是很荒谬又无奈的。我爱美国，因为在这个信息丰富的社会，我有机会看到世界上各种文化和最先进的技术. 是因为军工，让我能够站在世界的高处冷眼看全世界。我恨美国，因为美国有一大批思想观念有偏见的, 能力和职位不相称的人在掌握权力. 人才放错地方就是垃圾，不称职的人握有大权就会有灾难. 果不其然，美国经济零八年重创，到现在都没有真正恢复。因为劳动力的价格，美国大部分制造业都外移，绝大部分现在变成了服务业。

The head of the main office visited the company and knew that I was from mainland China. At that time, there was only one Chinese from the mainland. He was very excited to tell me that he went to Shanghai, China, and saw so many people using mobile phones. The young couple, the wife sitting behind the bicycle and was looking down at the mobile phone. “How could  they afford mobile phones all imported so expensive?” He asked me, I don't know. Too many migrant workers come to big cities. They need communication tools to communicate with distant families. Chinese culture is also favoring comparison. Shanghai girls can save three months to buy a dress that is as expensive as her monthly salary. It is normal for boys to buy a mobile phone. And the domestic economy is very active and easy to make money. Into the defense industry, I feel what quality are for those people? The project can't be extended so gets cut down, it is every year. The chief designer did not know the design structure, and the project manager did not know that if project could be delivered or not. The budget of the military industry is not affected by the economy nor the market. It is too good to make money. So even it is clear that this hundreds of billions dollar project has fatal errors, no one says anything. Some people have advised me. "You just follow the road, why make more issues?" A society that is so wasteful like the United States, even if you have more money, your home will be ruined. Americans are superstitious about the free market. Every year, millions of small and medium-sized enterprises in the United States are established. After two years, 80% disappeared. However, I think that there should be planning, so that resources will not be wasted. In a few years, there would be a crisis of 2008. We, the ethnic minorities, the girls, and the possible spies from the communist countries, were of course the first to be driven away.  The Latino immigrant movement in the last 20 years is also a political power grabbing campaign, which has driven many capable middle and upper managers in the traditional industry away, replaced by beaters with Latino background but insufficient ability. The politics of American society is ridiculous and helpless. I love the United States, because in this information-rich society, I have the opportunity to see the world's various cultures and the most advanced technologies. It is because of defense industry that allows me to stand in the heights of the world and look at the world. I hate the United States because there are a large number of prejudices in the United States, and people with disproportionate abilities and positions are in power. The place where talents misplaced are rubbish, and incompetent people have a power would cause disasters. Sure enough, the US economy in 2008 has been hit hard and has not really recovered. Because of the price of the labor force, most of the manufacturing industry in the United States has moved outwards, and most of it has now become a service industry.
