Jessica Jung implied in a statement that Girls' Generation members convinced SM Entertainment to kick her out of the group. SM reportedly gave her permission to start her Blanc fashion line. But she was cut from the band a few weeks after the rest of SNSD told her to choose between Girls' Generation and Blanc. And despite rumors to the contrary, Jung made no indications that her relationship with Tyler Kwon led to the split. Kwon, for his part, has denied reports that the two are planning marriage in 2015.
Why was Jessica Jung really kicked out of Girls’ Generation? Jung confirmed in a new statement thatSM Entertainment and her fellow group members were not happy with her outside interests, most notably her new fashion line, Blanc. But Jung denied reports that she put Blanc ahead of SNSD. In the statement, Jung claims she told SM about her plans to start Blanc, and both the agency and her fellow Girls’ Generation members were on board. But Jessica Jung claims everything changed just a few weeks later. UPDATE: Taeyeon Apologizes To SNSD Fans For Jessica Jung's Exit “However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting, and told me to either quit my business or leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason,” Jessica Jung said. “I explained that I had already received permission from the agency, that I had never neglected Girls' Generation's activities, and that I could not suddenly halt my business due to my contract with my business partner after a month.” RELATED: RiSe Dies Days After Ladies' Code Mourns Death Of EunB Girls' Generation is down to eight members following the departure of Jessica Jung.
Jessica Jung said that she then went to SM a second time on September 16, and the agency confirmed that she could continue to run Blanc and stay in Girls’ Generation. But this week, she received notice that she was being kicked out of SNSD. RELATED: What Happened In Car Accident That Killed EunB? “I have received great pain and cannot hide my sadness that I was asked by the agency and fellow members, whom I've spent 15 years with putting in all my passion and effort, to leave Girls' Generation just because of the reason that I'm starting a business,” Jessica Jung concluded her SNSD statement.“I also want to apologize for causing concern to all the fans. Please understand that this situation is not at all what I had wanted, and that I've always treasured Girls' Generation, and that I will continue to do so.” Jessica Jung's outside interests reportedly led to her departure from Girls' Generation.
There was also speculation that Jessica Jung left Girls’ Generation to focus on a possible wedding with boyfriend Tyler Kwon next year. But Kwon insisted on the social media website Weibo that the two are not even engaged. “Sigh, I guess we'll have to try this yet again: I have no plans of marriage anytime soon, whether it be this year ... next year ... If that was not clear enough, let me know I '. ll just keep trying,” Tyler Kwonwrote of the Jessica Jung wedding rumors. Even though it seems the other Girls’ Generation members were at least partially responsible for Jessica Jung’s exit, the rest of SNSD still got emotional at their first fan event without the singer. Some of the singers even shed some tears while performing the song “Complete.” Watch Girls' Generation make its first appearance without Jessica Jung.

The remaining members of Girls' Generation are trying to move on after Jessica Jung's exit. But Tiffany, Taeyeon and Seohyun could not help but get emotional at a TaeTiSeo fan event. So what did TTS have to say about Jessica's shocking departure from SNSD?
While Jessica Jung blamed the rest of Girls’ Generation for her sudden ouster from the group, the remaining members claim they only had SNSD’s best interests in mind. Kim Taeyeon apologized to Girls’ Generation fans at a fan meeting for sub-unit TaeTiSeo. There are also reports that all three TTS members — Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun — cried at the event. “The only thoughts I’ve had since the beginning was to protect SNSD,” Taeyeon said of Jessica Jung’s exit. “I’m so sorry. Please trust in SNSD one more time. We will try to have only positive things happen with SNSD in the future.” RELATED: RiSe Dies Days After Ladies' Code Mourns Death Of EunB Tiffany and Taeyeon reportedly got emotional at a TTS event while discussing Jessica Jung's exit from Girls' Generation.
Taeyeon’s comments come the day after Jessica Jung told her side of the story about her departure from Girls’ Generation. Jung confirmed that she was asked to leave because of concerns she was focusing too much on outside interests, including her fashion line, BLANC. But Jung maintained that both her management SM Entertainment, and the other Girls’ Generation members approved of BLANC at first. But only a month after the fashion line’s launch, SNSD told Jung she would have to choose between the band and her business. RELATED: What Happened In Car Accident That Killed EunB? “Ultimately, I pleaded that it was unjust for me to have to make a choice,” Jessica Jung’s statementsaid in part. “Becoming a Girls' Generation member was the best thing in my life, and I had never thought about quitting. Shocked about this, I had met with the [SM] agency CEO on September 16 to convey my position, and once again confirmed their permission for carrying out my business. However, on September 29, I was given a one-sided notice asking me to leave Girls' Generation.” Girls' Generation is down to eight members following the departure of Jessica Jung.
SM Entertainment, meanwhile, claimed that Jessica Jung was the one who first expressed a desire to exit Girls’ Generation. “This coming spring, due to her personal situation, she notified us she will halt her team promotions with the release of one [more] album,” the statement read. “Despite Jessica's sudden notice, the agency and the Girls' Generation members tried our best and tried to figure out a way that Girls' Generation's activities can continue in the best possible direction.” The SNSD statement continued: “However, in the midst of insufficient negotiations regarding conflicts of differences in priorities and interest, Jessica started her fashion business. Due to this, despite ongoing talks, it has come to a point where the team could not be maintained.” Whatever the reason for Jessica Jung’s SNSD exit, it’s clear the remaining Girls’ Generation are trying to move on without her. But between the dip in SM’s stocks after the Jung news broke and the loud chants for the singer at a fan event following her exit, it’s unclear if the band can survive with just eight members.

After hours of silence, SM Entertainment has finally sent out their official position or statement regarding the whole situation with Jessica and Girls' Generation, revealing that Girls' Generation will be active as 8 members as Jessica has chosen to halt her team activities.[size=1em]
[size=1em]The statement reads,
[size=1em]"Hello. This is SM Entertainment. [size=1em]We are offering our position on the words posted on Jessica's Weibo today. [size=1em]This coming spring, due to her personal situation, she notified us she will halt her team promotions with the release of one [more] album. [size=1em]Despite Jessica's sudden notice, the agency and the Girls' Generation members tried our best and tried to figure out a way that Girls' Generation's activities can continue in the best possible direction. [size=1em]However, in the midst of insufficient negotiations regarding conflicts of differences in priorities and interest, Jessica started her fashion business. Due to this, despite ongoing talks, it has come to a point where the team could not be maintained. [size=1em]Thus, the agency had no choice but to pull up Girls' Generation's activities as 8 members earlier than planned, and in the midst of while working out when to announce this, Jessica had posted her words early this morning. [size=1em]From here on, our agency will continue to support and manage the 8-member Girls' Generation and Jessica's individual activities."
[size=1em]So with this statement, it doesn't seem that Jessica is leaving the agency, but that she will not be active with the other 8 members in the future as she c [size=1em]arries out her own activities. Whatever the case may be, we wish both Jessica and the other 8 members the best.
