Jackie told me that when the wife of the King of Saudi Arabia spoke to her yesterday, she covered herself black Hijab and only her eyes shown! I saw a video on Youtube today. An Arab woman who speaks standard American English has married. She has a child in her hand and has a certain income from working outside. She is also wearing a black Hijab and only showing her eyes. She said "In fact, Arab men are hoping to find a wife who has a job because it can increase their income." The vast land of Saudi Arabia is sparsely populated, and they have abundant underground resources, so the country has a good income. The people also have no agricultural tradition. The water in Riyadh was transported by hundreds of kilometers after the desalination of the Indian Ocean. Because of the oil, they don’t have to try their best to create wealth like the Chinese, because there are few people and they don’t have to work hard to change the environment. Look at their family ruling, unity of politics and religion, praying five times a day. I remember that in Jerusalem, every time they prayed, there were sound from big speakers outside in the city, and then I saw a large number of people coming out of buildings. In the residence shop, just on the street, they laid a blanket to take off their shoes and head down on the floor. At that time the whole city life was interrupted, in city there was only Allah. The Arabs living traditions like this, if they go to a foreign countries, who can really accept it? I once saw on the road to Tibet, those one kneel down one kowtow devout believers, I was very much touched at the beginning. They were not afraid of a long distance not afraid of danger, going to the god of their hearts, it’s really a good spirit. But then I thought, this is a waste of life! A person can do a lot of things in his life, wasting time and life on touching the land, and have nothing to achieve. Worthy? People should do something more valuable.
