Dr. Ferber已经在他后来的文章里面和NPR、CBS等媒体上很清楚地表态：很多家长盲目
地开始Sleep training了。甚至他在2006年已经表示他对Co-sleeping是开放的态度的
。Ferber's consultations mix sleep science with psychology...（Dr. Ferber对
他自己老婆都无法完全了解，你认为他能通过psychology了解你的孩子吗？） The so-
called Ferber method, the approach of allowing a child to cry for longer and
longer periods, he reserves only for those families who want to break what
Ferber calls bad sleep habits. Harvard里面莫名其妙的理论太多了。
顺其自然吧。The day is long and the life is short。他们很快长大；你们很快变
老。能跟孩子亲近的时间，真的很有限、很有限......
能读英语的自己看看Dr. Ferber说的：
I went to great pains in the second edition [of his book] to clarify that
that treatment is not appropriate for every sleep issue, of which there are
many. So if someone tells me they tried my "method," I know they only read
one small part of my book.
同样的，不得不说说另外一本很危险的书叫做On Becoming Baby Wise---更为人熟知的
书名是Baby Wise和其中谈到的sleep training AND Parent-Directed Feeding (PDF)
。中文已经被深圳的一个公司出版了（0到6岁什么的书名）。更为遗憾的是，这本书的
作者竟然连New York的一个community college都没毕业。比这个更遗憾的是，他竟然
在一个教会很长时间---好在后来被著名的John MacArthur牧师处理了。具体关于Baby

对的，John MacArthur牧师是麦克阿瑟将军的侄儿。他们二位大概都没有受过所谓的
