5月24日，打开白宫请愿网站“We the people”，突然发现又出现了一个和郭文贵有关的请愿项目，并且签名人数一夜之间暴涨到了32011 ，超过了杨建利提请的保护郭文贵请愿项目，并正在以几乎每小时1千多人的速度，飞快上升着。杨建利的提请美国政府保护郭文贵项目，截至发稿只有26484人，而这个项目自5月18日开始，已经建立了7天。
真可谓异军突起，截至发稿，此项目签名数已达35036人。
这个一夜之间暴涨的新项目，题目是：
“We ask for investigating on Guo Wengui and his repatriation to People’s Republic of China.”
We launch this petition based on the following facts, that a criminal suspect is at large without any restrictions in the US after his escaping to the country. This man is called Guo Wengui and has been charged by Chinese courts with various crimes committed in China. He is squandering his ill-gotten wealth from official-business collusion without any restraints. Moreover he hyped up fake gossips on social media like Twitter,Youtube, and also whitewashed his crimes and fabricated rumors about his former partners and stakeholders on it. His deeds trampling on the bottom line of humanity is scarcely found in history and could not be tolerated by any laws or principles. Guo’s main criminal offences includes but not limited to: Financial fraud, Mayhem, International money laundering, Spying.
而杨建利的保护郭文贵签名项目——“Help and protect Chinese whistle blower and exile Guo Wen Gui”，建立的最初4天，每天上涨5千人左右，很顺利地上升到20000人，形势曾经一度乐观。不料之后突然停滞，甚至跳水了几千人。大跳水之后，站住在23000人的台阶上，之后3天，每天仅上升1千人左右。照现在这个上升速度，要达到10万白宫回应线，还需要70多天时间。而白宫请愿签名项目时限是30天。
白宫签名网站，现在被中国人搞得很热闹。除了上述两个项目，还有一个据说是郑介甫先生发起的，题目是“I strongly urge the US federal government to investigate Guo Wengui and repatriate him back to China”，中文意思是：我强烈敦促美国联邦政府调查和遣返郭文贵回中国。
郑介甫先生的这个项目，用词除了“I”，还有“China”，而不是“People’s Republic of China”这样的官方名称。私人性质很显然。此项目建立于5月20日，已经5天，目前签名数9100余人。
