Construction Coverage的住房负担能力指标,追踪了384个城市的房价收入比(房价中位数除以家庭年收入中位数),其中79个城市位于加州;更令人震惊的是,美国房价收入比最高的20个城市都在加州。
在前30个最负担不起的城市中,93%的城市位于加州;前40名占83%;前50名占78%;前75名占69%;前100名占61%;前150名占51%。
在全州范围内,加州的房价是收入的8.4倍(765,197美元vs91,551美元),而全美的房价是收入的4.7倍(347,716美元vs74,755美元)。
